The K4 was created as an upgrade of its
predecessor, the K3. It was required by
McDonald's, to be used in its outlets around
the world in the production of shakes and

The K4 was created according to McDonald's suggestion, as they wanted an
update of its previous version, improving aspects related to production, usability and cleanliness.
My task was to redesign the interaction between man and machine, simplifying
and improving the use of all the functions the machine can offer.
The front panel was improved, proposing a more old-style navigation, replacing the
soft touch panel, of the previous version, with a push-button panel; maintaining a
clean stylistic form oriented towards minimalism. There are currently two versions: one designed exclusively for McDonald's and the other reserved for Carpigiani versions.
